Organization:

Arkansas Dance Network (ADN) is a non-profit organization that seeks to represent dance statewide without affiliation to specific programs, studios, schools, or instructors.

Mission:

The mission of Arkansas Dance Network is to provide a unified voice for dance and to encourage and support public interest in the art of dance in all of its forms through development of high quality dance education in Arkansas.

Goals:

• Improve public attitude towards dance as a valuable art form and an enriching educational experience.
• Facilitate professional development opportunities for dance educators.
  
• Increase opportunities for youth dance education, including providing scholarships when needed.
  
• Increase opportunities for students and the general public to view high quality dance performances.
  
• Increase public awareness of dance related activities through improved communication and networking opportunities among various dance stakeholders and patrons.
  
• Create a more positive self image for the State of Arkansas by contributing to the elevation of the arts and improved access to cultural activities.
  
• Obtain sufficient resources to fund these dance enhancing efforts.
